The Pythagorean Grid: Decoding the Hidden Frequencies of a Name
The Pythagorean system assigns every letter a number from 1 to 9. The alphabet is simply laid out in nine columns: A — 1, B — 2, C — 3 and so on around the circle. The sum of your full name, reduced to a single digit (or a Master Number), gives your Destiny Number.
Vowels and consonants are counted separately. The sum of the vowels is your Soul Number: what you truly long for. The sum of the consonants is your Personality Number: how others see you. The gap between them often explains the feeling of being misunderstood.
Why the birth name? Numerologists see it as the first vibration you received. A pen name or a married surname adds new shades but does not erase the foundation.
A full calculation with an explanation of every number is in the Destiny Number service or the free numerology section of the app.
